  8. sesame oil - 1 teaspoon (1 teaspoon)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Drain and cut tofu into 1 in by 1 in pieces. Slice carrot into 1/4 inch thick slices at an angle. Thinly slice the pork across the grain.
  2. Marinate Pork: Marinate the pork slices with about 1/4 teaspoon of white pepper powder.
  3. Cook Soup: Turn the stove on high heat and add 4 cups of water to a pot. Add tofu and carrot to the pot and cover with a lid. Once boiling, add salt and the stems of the spinach first as they take longer to cook.
  4. Add Spinach and Pork: Add spinach, using chopsticks to push it down until fully submerged. After about a minute, uncover the pot and start adding the marinated pork, spreading out the slices to prevent sticking and ensure even cooking.
  5. Final Touch: Finish off the dish by adding a teaspoon of sesame oil. Serve immediately, being cautious of the temperature.
