Instructions

  1. Prepare beans: Soak black beans overnight. Rinse well until water runs clear.
  2. Cook beans: Cook beans in a pressure cooker with water, salt, bay leaves, onion, and garlic for 25 minutes on low pressure. If using a pot, simmer for about 1.5 hours or until tender.
