  2. sugar - watch the video to see (to dissolve in juice, adjust sweetness to taste)
  3. water - watch the video to see (used for diluting and cooking to preserve sherbet)
  4. salt - watch the video to see (a pinch to cut sweetness and enhance flavor)
  5. cumin seeds - watch the video to see (to add freshness and a pause in flavor)

Instructions

  1. Extract Wood Apple Juice: Extract juice from ripe wood apple (bael fruit) by cracking open the fruit and scooping out the pulp.
  2. Prepare Sherbet Base: Dissolve sugar in the extracted juice. Optionally, add a pinch of salt and cumin seeds for a slightly salty and fresh flavor.
  3. Two Preparation Methods: Method 1: Filter the juice after sugar dissolves and serve chilled. Method 2: Add water to the juice, cook the mixture, then filter it. This method allows the sherbet to be stored in the fridge for the entire summer without spoiling.
  4. Chill and Serve: Keep the prepared sherbet in the refrigerator and serve chilled as a refreshing summer drink.
