Instructions
Prepare Bula: Mix Bula powder with water and let it sit until the Bula sinks to the bottom.
Boil Water: Boil enough water for the Bula mixture.
Combine Bula and Boiling Water: Add a tiny bit of salt and a little bit of clarified butter to the boiling water, then pour in the Bula mixture while stirring quickly.
Cook Bula Genfo: Lower the heat and let the Bula cook slowly, stirring continuously. It cooks quickly, usually in less than a minute.
Add Butter and Spices: After cooking, add clarified butter to taste and thoroughly combine. Serve with mitmita, kochkocha, or berbere as preferred.
