Ingredients

  1. tahini - 1 cup (approximately 300 grams)
  2. water - 1 cup (may need up to a cup and a quarter, adjust as needed)
  3. salt - 1 teaspoon (small spoon)
  4. cumin - 1/2 teaspoon (half a small spoon)
  5. chili or paprika - 1/4 teaspoon (quarter of a small spoon)
  6. nutmeg - a pinch (a very small sprinkle)
  7. garlic - 3 cloves (grated)
  8. oil - 1 tablespoon (preferably olive oil, large spoon)
  9. vinegar - 1 tablespoon (large spoon)

Instructions

  1. Combine Tahini and Water: Gradually add water to the tahini, starting with half a cup, and stir until it starts to thicken and lighten in color.
  2. Adjust Consistency: Continue adding water gradually until you reach the desired consistency, approximately a full cup for 300 grams of tahini.
  3. Add Spices: Stir in salt, cumin, chili or paprika, and a pinch of nutmeg until well combined.
  4. Finalize: Grate three cloves of garlic into the mixture, add olive oil and vinegar, and stir well to achieve a creamy consistency.
