Ingredients

  1. pot sticker wrappers - watch the video to see (floured on one side)
  2. filling - 2 teaspoons per pot sticker (use your preferred filling)
  3. water - watch the video to see (for brushing along the edge of the wrapper)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Wrapper: Place the wrapper in your non-dominant hand, unfloured side up.
  2. Add Filling: Add two teaspoons of filling to the center of the wrapper.
  3. Brush with Water: Brush water along the edge of the wrapper.
  4. Fold and Pleat: Hold the unwrapped dumpling in your non-dominant hand, cupping it into a half moon. Start on one side of the opening and fold small amounts of dough on top of one another, making a pleat. Make five pleats with equal distance to each other, creating a semblance of ruffles or a paper fan.
  5. Seal the Dumpling: Ensure the dumpling is fully sealed so the filling doesn't burst out.
