Instructions

  1. Prep the Fat: Mince the beef fat.
  2. Add Flavors: Add in minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme for extra flavor.
  3. Sear the Fat: Transfer the mixture to a pan and start searing it on a high heat.
  4. Oven Render: Place the pan into the oven set at 160°C and leave to render down for around an hour.
  5. Strain: Remove it from the oven and strain the liquid tallow into a container.
