Ingredients

  1. organic whole milk - watch the video to see
  2. organic live natural yogurt - watch the video to see (as culture)

Instructions

  1. Sterilize the saucepan: Sterilize your saucepan by boiling water with a bit of vinegar, then discard the vinegar water.
  2. Heat the milk: Add organic whole milk to the saucepan and bring to a boil. Allow the milk to cool down to about 45 degrees Celsius, which is the perfect temperature for adding the culture.
  3. Add the culture: Scoop the organic live natural yogurt into the warm milk, mix well until combined, then cover and leave in a warm place overnight.
  4. Strain the yogurt: Transfer the yogurt into a cheesecloth, tie it with a string, and hang it over a bowl to collect the whey. Allow it to suspend for about an hour to achieve the desired thickness of Greek yogurt.
  5. Preserve the yogurt: Transfer the thickened yogurt into a sterilized jar for storage.
