Instructions
Prepare the Salmon: Dry the salmon fillet thoroughly before cooking.
Heat the Grill: Preheat the grill or plancher and let the oil heat up slightly.
Cook the Salmon: Sear the salmon, mostly on one side to get the skin crispy, then flip and finish cooking for a total of about 6 minutes.
Rest the Fish: Let the salmon rest for a minute and a half, then briefly place in a preheated oven for 1 minute to reach the perfect internal temperature.
Serve: Season with salt and pepper to taste. The salmon should have a large flake and a translucent appearance, indicating it is perfectly cooked.
