Ingredients

  1. Basmati rice - 1 cup
  2. Red chillies - 4
  3. Chana dal - 1 tsp
  4. Urad dal - 1 tsp
  5. Raisins - 1 tsp
  6. Cashew nuts - 5
  7. Green chillies - 4
  8. Curry leaves - 1 (1 spring)
  9. Grated coconut - 1 cup
  10. Coconut oil - watch the video to see (As Required)
  11. Salt - watch the video to see (to taste)
  12. Sugar - ½ tsp

Instructions

  1. Cook Basmati Rice: Firstly cook basmati rice and keep aside.
  2. Prepare Tempering: Heat coconut oil in a pan, add red chillies, chana dal, cashew nuts, urad dal, and saute it.
  3. Add Spices and Coconut: Add raisins, green chillies, curry leaves, and mix. Now add grated coconut powder, some salt, pinch of sugar, cooked basmati rice and mix it nicely.
  4. Serve: Serve hot.
