Ingredients

  1. cooking oil - 2 tablespoons (for beef mince preparation)
  2. onion - 1 medium (finely chopped)
  3. garlic - 1 tablespoon (finely chopped)
  4. beef mince - 350 grams (fresh)
  5. Himalayan pink salt - 1 teaspoon (or to taste)
  6. black pepper powder - 1 teaspoon (freshly ground)
  7. red chilli crushed - 1 teaspoon (for beef mince)
  8. dried oregano - 1 teaspoon (for beef mince)
  9. paprika powder - 1/2 teaspoon (for beef mince)
  10. water - 2 tablespoons (for cooking beef mince)
  11. cooking oil - 1 tablespoon (for white sauce preparation)
  12. butter - 2 tablespoons (unsalted)
  13. all-purpose flour - 2 tablespoons (for white sauce)
  14. milk - 2 cups (whole milk preferred)
  15. black pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon (for white sauce)
  16. white pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon (for white sauce)
  17. red chilli crushed - 1/4 teaspoon (for white sauce)
  18. Himalayan pink salt - 1/2 teaspoon (or to taste for white sauce)
  19. mixed herbs - 1/2 teaspoon (for white sauce)

  21. sedani rigati pasta - 250 grams (boiled as per package instructions)
  22. mozzarella cheese - 1/2 cup (shredded, for assembling)
  23. cheddar cheese - 1/2 cup (shredded, for assembling)
  24. fresh parsley - watch the video to see (chopped, for garnish)
  25. red chilli crushed - watch the video to see (for garnish)
  26. dried oregano - watch the video to see (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Beef Mince: In a frying pan, heat cooking oil. Add finely chopped onion and garlic, fry on medium flame until light golden. Add beef mince and cook until it changes color. Add Himalayan pink salt, black pepper powder, crushed red chilli, dried oregano, and paprika powder. Mix well and cook on medium flame for 2-3 minutes. Add water, mix, cover and cook on low flame for 6-8 minutes. Then cook on high flame until the mixture dries up. Set aside.
  2. Prepare White Sauce: In a saucepan, add cooking oil and butter, let it melt. Add all-purpose flour, mix well and cook on medium flame for 1 minute. Gradually add milk while stirring continuously. Add black pepper powder, white pepper powder, crushed red chilli, Himalayan pink salt, and mixed herbs. Cook on medium flame until the sauce thickens, about 4-5 minutes.
  3. Assemble the Bake: In a baking dish, add a layer of white sauce mixed with hot sauce. Add boiled sedani rigati pasta. Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese. Add prepared beef mince. Pour remaining white sauce over. Top with fresh parsley, more mozzarella and cheddar cheese, crushed red chilli, and dried oregano.
  4. Bake: Bake in a preheated oven at Grill setting 1 (G-1) for 15 minutes or until the cheese melts and turns golden.
