Instructions

  1. Prepare Red Sauce with Beef Mince: In a blender, add blanched and peeled tomatoes and blend to make a puree. Set aside. In a wok, heat cooking oil, add chopped onion and garlic, sauté until translucent. Add beef mince and cook until color changes. Add tomato puree, tomato paste, dried oregano, paprika powder, roasted and crushed cumin seeds, crushed red chili, Himalayan pink salt, red chili powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well, cover, and cook on low flame for 10-15 minutes. Add chopped fresh basil leaves, mix well, and set aside.
  2. Prepare White Sauce: In a saucepan, melt butter. Add all-purpose flour and cook on low flame for one minute. Gradually add milk while whisking continuously. Add crushed black pepper, garlic powder, Himalayan pink salt, nutmeg powder, and chicken powder. Bring to a boil and cook until thickened, stirring continuously.
  3. Assemble and Bake Lasagna: In a 9x9 inch baking dish, layer red sauce, boiled lasagna sheets, red sauce again, fresh basil leaves, white sauce, and mixed cheese. Sprinkle crushed red chili and dried oregano on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) for 20 minutes.
  4. Serve: Sprinkle fresh basil leaves on top after baking and serve hot.
