Instructions

  1. Prepare the Spice-Nut Mixture: Slowly dry roast cashew nuts, pumpkin seeds, almonds, pistachios, chironji, muskmelon seeds, and watermelon seeds on a very slow flame.
  2. Add Spices: Add nutmeg, black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, and fennel seeds to the roasted nuts and continue roasting on a slow flame.
  3. Enhance with Saffron and Rose: Add saffron and dried rose petals, and keep tossing till the rose petals dry out.
  4. Blend with Sugar: Let the mixture cool down, then blend it with a little sugar to make a fine powder.
  5. Prepare the Drink: Add the powder to slightly hot milk and whisk it well. Adjust sugar to taste.
