Ingredients

  1. rice - 275 grams (Japanese rice)
  2. sticky rice - 75 grams
  3. water - 500 ml
  4. hot water - 2 tablespoons
  5. salt - 1/2 tablespoon
  6. tuna in oil - 80 grams
  7. garlic - 3 cloves (sliced)
  8. red chili peppers - 5 (sliced)
  9. kaffir lime leaves - 3 (sliced)
  10. oil - 1 tablespoon
  11. sambal sauce - 1 tablespoon
  12. abon nori - 2 tablespoons
  13. sesame oil - 1/2 teaspoon
  14. sugar - 1/2 teaspoon
  15. mushroom broth powder - 1/4 teaspoon
  16. mayonnaise - 1 1/2 tablespoons

Instructions

  1. Prepare Rice: Follow the same rice preparation steps as in the Onigiri Tuna Mayo recipe.
  2. Make Spicy Tuna Filling: Heat a little oil and sauté garlic, red chili peppers, kaffir lime leaves, and mushroom broth powder until fragrant. In a bowl, mix this with tuna, sugar, sesame oil, sambal sauce, and mayonnaise.
  3. Mix Rice with Abon Nori: Mix some of the prepared rice with abon nori.
  4. Shape Onigiri: Moisten hands with water, take a small amount of the abon nori rice mixture, fill with the spicy tuna mixture, and shape into onigiri. Wrap with nori onigiri.
  5. Serve: Your Spicy Tuna Onigiri is ready to be enjoyed.
