Ingredients

  1. roast beef - 1.2 kg (approximately 1.2 kg, tied with a rope)
  2. garlic cloves - watch the video to see (use as preferred, for stuffing and seasoning)
  3. salt - to taste
  4. seven spices - watch the video to see
  5. black pepper - watch the video to see
  6. cinnamon - watch the video to see
  7. potatoes - watch the video to see (peeled, quantity as needed)
  8. vegetable oil - 1/4 cup (plus a little more for roasting)
  9. butter paper and tin foil - as needed (for covering the roast)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Roast: Make holes in the roast beef and stuff it with garlic cloves.
  2. Season the Beef: Mix salt, seven spices, black pepper, and cinnamon. Season the beef with this mixture.
  3. Prepare Potatoes: Make cracks in the peeled potatoes and season them with the remaining spice mixture.
  4. Roast Preparation: Place the seasoned beef and potatoes in a tray. Add vegetable oil and cover with butter paper and tin foil.
  5. Bake: Bake in a preheated oven at 180-200°C, covered, for about two hours. Then uncover and bake to brown the surface.
