Instructions

  1. Season patties: Lightly salt the double meat patties.
  2. Butter bread: Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
  3. Toast bread: Place the bread butter-side down in a pan and start toasting.
  4. Assemble sandwich: On the untoasted side of one bread slice, layer caramelized onions, double cheddar cheese, mushroom pâté, and the cooked patties.
