  2. lemon juice - from 1 lemon
  3. olive oil - 3 tablespoons
  4. salt - to taste
  5. pepper - to taste
  6. Naxos Barbastathis oven potatoes - 1kg
  7. onion - 1
  8. garlic cloves - 2
  9. dried oregano - 1 tablespoon
  10. water - 100g
  11. butter - 1 tablespoon (for the composition)
  12. freshly ground pepper - to taste (for serving)
  13. oregano leaves - to taste (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the steaks: Marinate steaks with lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  2. Sear the steaks: Sear steaks in a pan until they change color.
  3. Prepare the potatoes: Place frozen Naxos potatoes in a baking dish, add sliced onion, garlic, seasonings, lemon juice, and water.
  4. Combine and bake: Place seared steaks over the potatoes, add melted butter, and bake at 220°C for 30 minutes.
