Ingredients

  1. Dahi (Yogurt) hung - 1/2 cup (for tahini sauce)
  2. Tahini paste - 2 tablespoons (for tahini sauce)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Tahini Sauce: In a bowl, add hung yogurt, tahini paste, mayonnaise, Himalayan pink salt, crushed black pepper, lemon juice, grated garlic, and chopped mint leaves. Mix well and set aside.
  2. Prepare Grilled Chicken Marinade: In a bowl, combine boneless chicken thighs and fillet with thick yogurt, cream, dried oregano, red chili powder, coriander powder, crushed black pepper, Himalayan pink salt, cumin powder, paprika powder, garam masala powder, garlic powder, lemon juice, cooking oil, and chopped fresh coriander. Mix well, cover, and marinate for 30 minutes.
  3. Prepare Chicken Skewers: Soak wooden skewers in water. Thread the marinated chicken onto the skewers, making 7-8 skewers.
  4. Grill Chicken Skewers: Place chicken skewers on the oven grill and insert the grill inside the microwave. Grill on grill+combination (C 2) setting for 12 minutes. Turn the skewers and grill for another 12 minutes on the same setting.
  5. Prepare Salad: In a bowl, mix shredded iceberg lettuce, tomato cubes, onion cubes, crushed black pepper, Himalayan pink salt, lemon juice, extra virgin olive oil, and chopped fresh coriander.
  6. Assemble Shawarma Tacos: On each tortilla, spread prepared tahini sauce, sprinkle paprika powder, add grilled chicken, salad, and pickled cucumber slices. Fold and wrap in butter paper and serve.
