Ingredients

  1. maida (all-purpose flour) - 500 g
  2. yeast - 2 tsp
  3. sugar - 2 tsp
  4. maize rava - 2 tsp
  5. salt - watch the video to see (as required)
  6. water - watch the video to see (warm, as required)
  7. tomatoes - 1 cup (deseeded)
  8. tomato puree - ¼ cup
  9. chilli powder - 1 tsp
  10. garlic - 2 tbsp (chopped)
  11. oregano - ½ tsp
  12. oil - watch the video to see (as required)
  13. pizza cheese - ½ cup
  14. chicken - ¼ cup
  15. tikka masala spices - watch the video to see (as shown)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: In a bowl, add maida. Take warm water, add sugar and yeast to it, and stir until it dissolves completely. Add this to the maida and knead it into a soft dough. Let it rest for 2 hours. Knead the dough again and let it rest for 30 more minutes.
  2. Roll and Half Bake the Pizza Base: Roll the pizza dough into the required shapes and sizes. While rolling, add some maize rava at the bottom. Half bake them on a tawa.
  3. Prepare the Pizza Sauce: In a pan, add oil and a teaspoon of maida. Cook it slightly. Now add tomato puree, deseeded tomatoes, chilli powder, chopped garlic, oregano, a pinch of sugar, and some salt. Cook it till it becomes flavourful.
  4. Assemble and Cook the Pizza: Take the half-baked pizza and add the freshly made pizza sauce. Spread it, then add pizza cheese and top it up with various toppings like chicken, paneer, sweet corn, etc. Place the pizzas on a tawa, cover them with silver foil, and cook them till the cheese melts. Serve hot.
