Instructions

  1. Prepare the Vegetables: Peel stripes on the cucumbers and cut out the core. Smash the cucumber and cut it into thick slices at an angle. Slice the bell pepper thinly, dice the green onions, roughly chop the cilantro, and mince the garlic.
  2. Osmosis: In a large bowl, toss the cucumbers with salt and sugar. Then add in the red bell peppers and toss again. Let it sit for 10 to 30 minutes, then drain the water.
  3. The Sauce: Mix some chili sauce, light soy sauce, oyster sauce, vinegar, sugar, and the minced garlic.
  4. Combine: Add the sauce to the bowl of cucumbers and bell peppers along with your green onions. Finish it with cilantro, sesame seeds, sesame oil, and cooking oil.
