  2. salt - 1 pinch (for boiling water)
  3. ribeye beef - 200 grams (cut into medium pieces)
  4. shrimp - 200 grams (peeled and deveined)
  5. red bell pepper - 1 medium (cut into thin strips)
  6. green bell pepper - 1 medium (cut into thin strips)
  7. onion - 1 medium (cut into julienne strips)
  8. garlic - 3 cloves (finely chopped)
  9. fresh ginger - 1 tablespoon (finely chopped)
  10. oil - 2 tablespoons (for stir-frying)
  11. dark soy sauce - 2 tablespoons (adds color and depth)
  12. oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon (adds umami flavor)
  13. hoisin sauce - 1 tablespoon (adds sweet and savory flavor)

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles: Bring enough water to a boil with a pinch of salt. Add the whole wheat noodles and cook according to package instructions (usually 6-8 minutes). Drain and rinse under cold water to stop cooking.
  2. Prepare ingredients: Cut ribeye beef into medium pieces. Peel and devein shrimp. Slice red and green bell peppers into thin strips. Cut onion into julienne strips. Finely chop garlic and fresh ginger.
  3. Stir-fry beef and shrimp separately: Heat a wok or large skillet with some oil over high heat. Stir-fry the ribeye beef until browned on the outside but still juicy inside. Remove and set aside. In the same pan, cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  4. Cook vegetables and aromatics: Add more oil if needed. Stir-fry garlic and ginger for a few seconds until aromatic. Add bell peppers and onion, stir-frying on high heat to keep them crisp.
  5. Combine all ingredients and sauces: Return beef and shrimp to the pan. Add the cooled noodles. Mix everything gently with folding motions. Add dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, and hoisin sauce. Stir-fry on high heat for a couple of minutes until flavors meld.
