  5. extra virgin olive oil - 4 tablespoons
  6. curry powder - 1 tablespoon (mild)
  7. turmeric - 1-2 teaspoons
  8. chicken stock - 1/2 liter
  9. cream - 4 deciliters
  10. unfiltered apple juice - 3 deciliters
  11. soy sauce - 4 tablespoons
  12. salt - 2-4 teaspoons

Instructions

  1. Sauté Vegetables: Sauté the mixed root vegetables and onions in extra virgin olive oil.
  2. Add Spices and Sauté: Add the dry spices (curry powder and turmeric) and sauté briefly.
  3. Add Remaining Ingredients: Add chicken stock, cream, and unfiltered apple juice to the pot, excluding soy sauce and salt. Let it simmer until the vegetables are tender.
  4. Blend the Sauce: Blend the contents of the pot to a smooth consistency, then add salt and soy sauce.
  5. Sauté Chicken: Quickly sauté the chicken breast cubes and add them to the curry sauce. Let the dish simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  6. Serve: Serve the chicken kari with rice.
