  10. cornstarch - watch the video to see
  11. oil - enough to submerge the pork (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Pork: Marinate bite-sized pieces of pork with garlic salt and light soy sauce, then mix in half an egg.
  2. Prepare Vegetables: Cut yellow onions, red onions, a variety of bell peppers, and pineapple into pieces.
  3. Coat the Pork: Coat the marinated pork with plain flour, then cornstarch. Squeeze each piece a few times to ensure they're fully covered.
  4. First Fry: Heat a wok on high with enough oil to submerge the pork. Fry the pork at 300 to 350 degrees Fahrenheit for seven to eight minutes until it starts browning. Transfer the pork out.
  5. Second Fry: Increase the oil temperature to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and fry the pork again for one to two minutes to boost the crunch factor.
  6. Stir-Fry Vegetables: Stir-fry the veggies and pineapples in a clean wok before setting them aside.
  7. Combine and Serve: Make the sweet and sour sauce (recipe in yesterday's video). When it starts to boil, throw everything back into the wok and stir it all together.
