Instructions
Prepare the sushi rice: Cook the sushi rice and season with sushi vinegar. Let it cool to room temperature.
Assemble the sushi: Place a nori sheet on a bamboo mat, spread a thin layer of rice on the nori, leaving a small margin at the top. Add your chosen fillings in a line at the bottom of the rice.
Roll the sushi: Using the bamboo mat, roll the sushi away from you, pressing down to make the roll tight. Seal the edge of the nori with a little water.
Cut and serve: With a sharp knife, cut the roll into bite-sized pieces. Serve with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger.
