Ingredients

  1. chicken breasts - 2-3 (scored on 1 side)
  2. flour - 1/4 cup (60 g)
  3. butter - 3 tbsp (divided, use 1 tbsp after garlic)
  4. olive oil - 2 tbsp
  5. garlic cloves - 4-5 (minced)
  6. Sherry vinegar - 2 tbsp
  7. soy sauce - 1 tbsp
  8. maple syrup - 3 tbsp
  9. chives - to taste (optional)
  10. salt - to taste
  11. pepper - to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare Chicken: Make deep scores in your chicken breast and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Coat and Fry: Coat the chicken in flour and fry in a mixture of olive oil and 2 tbsp butter for 3 minutes per side.
  3. Add Garlic and Sauces: Add minced garlic to the pan, followed by Sherry vinegar, maple syrup, soy sauce, and 1 tbsp more butter.
  4. Cook with Sauce: Tilt the pan back and cook for another 5 minutes while basting the chicken with the sauce.
