  4. vanilla extract - 1/2 teaspoon (for baghrir batter)
  5. cream cheese - 115 grams (softened)
  6. unsalted butter - 60 grams (softened)
  7. powdered sugar - 60 grams (for frosting sweetness)
  8. vanilla extract - 1/2 teaspoon (for cream cheese frosting)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Baghrir Batter: Make the baghrir batter as usual, replacing 2 tablespoons of flour with cocoa powder. Add red food coloring and vanilla extract to the mixture and mix well until you get a red and thick batter.
  2. Cook the Baghrir: Cook the batter on a hot pan without flipping until cooked through. Set aside to cool.
  3. Prepare the Cream Cheese Frosting: In a bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and unsalted butter together until smooth and creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, whisking continuously until the mixture becomes light and fluffy.
