Ingredients

  1. ginger - 1 pinch (chopped)
  2. green chilli - 1 pinch (chopped)
  3. onion - 1 (small, chopped)
  4. cumin - 1 pinch
  5. ghee, butter or oil - 1 tsp
  6. maida - 1/4 cup
  7. pepper - 1 pinch (crushed)
  8. rice flour - 1 cup
  9. salt - watch the video to see (to taste)
  10. sooji, rava, semolina - 1 cup
  11. buttermilk - watch the video to see

Instructions

  1. Mix Ingredients: Mix all ingredients as shown. Add water (or buttermilk) to make a thin batter.
  2. Cook on Griddle: Sprinkle the batter over a hot griddle. If it's not a non-stick pan, spray with non-stick spray, wipe clean, and then sprinkle the batter. Apply butter or oil.
  3. Serve: Serve hot with pickle, chutney, or use potato stuffing just as used in masala dosa.
