Ingredients

  1. large wheat Arabic pie - 1
  2. medium eggs - 6
  3. red pepper - 1 (sliced into strips)
  4. green pepper - 1 (sliced into strips)
  5. ham - 100g (sliced into thin strips)
  6. olive oil - to taste (extra virgin, Greek preferred)
  7. dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  8. baking powder - 1 teaspoon
  9. whole milk - 100g
  10. grated cheese mix - 150g
  11. salt - to taste
  12. pepper - to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the vegetables and ham: Cut the peppers into strips and put them in a pan on high heat with olive oil. Add salt and pepper and sauté. Cut the ham and Arabic pie into thin strips.
  2. Mix eggs and seasonings: In a bowl, break the eggs and add salt, pepper, oregano, baking powder, and milk. Mix well.
  3. Combine all ingredients: Add the strips of ham, the cheese, and the strips of Arabic pie to the egg mixture. Mix thoroughly.
  4. Cook the omelette: Transfer the mixture to the pan with the sautéed peppers. Let the bottom of the omelette take color, then transfer to a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F). Bake for 15 minutes until cooked on top and browned inside.
  5. Serve: Cut into six pieces for appetizers or four for a main dish and serve.
