Ingredients

  2. water - watch the video to see (for boiling and broth)
  3. salt - watch the video to see (to taste)
  4. onion - a little (chopped)
  5. garlic - a little (chopped)
  6. apple cider vinegar - 2 tablespoons (can be replaced with white vinegar)
  7. cornstarch - watch the video to see (optional thickener)

Instructions

  1. Boil Bones: Place bones in a pot, add water and salt, and boil.
  2. Strain Broth: Strain the broth and return it to the pot.
  3. Add Ingredients: Add more water, onion, garlic, and apple cider vinegar.
  4. Simmer: Bring to a boil, remove the upper layer, and simmer for at least six hours.
  5. Refrigerate: Strain again and refrigerate for four hours until it forms gelatin.
  6. Remove Fat: Remove the upper layer of fat before using.
  7. Serve: Mix with warm water and lemon juice or use in cooking.
