Ingredients

  1. potatoes - 1.2 kg (peeled and rinsed)
  2. garlic butter - half of the prepared amount (from the recipe above)
  3. single cream - 200 ml
  4. salt - 1 tablespoon
  5. bay leaf - 1

Instructions

  1. Cook Potatoes: Plunge the potatoes into a large volume of cold salted water flavored with a bay leaf. Cook over medium heat.
  2. Mash and Mix: Once cooked, mash the potatoes with a potato masher or fork. Add half of the prepared garlic butter while the potatoes are still hot.
  3. Add Cream: Add 200 ml of single cream, crush and mix until smooth and creamy. Add salt if necessary.
