- bacon - 300 g (diced)
- butter - 1 tbsp
- tomato paste - 1 tbsp
- cream - 1/2 L
- water - 2 dl
- smoked paprika - 1 tbsp
- regular paprika - 2 tbsp
- mild curry - 1-2 tsp
- black pepper - 1 tsp
- red bell pepper - 1 (diced)
- garlic - 4-6 cloves (crushed)
- thyme - 1 (1 sprig)
- ketchup - 2 tbsp
- salt - to taste (to taste)
Instructions
- Cook Sausages: Stir-fry the sausages in butter in a large pot until golden, then set aside.
- Crisp the Bacon: In the same pot, cook the bacon until crispy.
- Sauté Vegetables: Add all the diced vegetables to the pot and sauté for 3-5 minutes.
- Add Spices and Tomato Paste: Add the dry spices and tomato paste to the pot and cook for another 3 minutes.
- Combine Ingredients: Return the sausages to the pot, along with the potatoes, cream, and water. Let the dish simmer for 30 minutes on low heat.
- Final Touches: Stir in ketchup and adjust the seasoning with salt to taste.
- Serve: Serve the dish garnished with finely chopped spring onions and slices of fresh tomato.
