Syrian seasoning - to taste (or your favorite seasoning, to taste)
olive oil - watch the video to see (as needed)
pita bread - watch the video to see (as needed, use whole if not too thin)
Instructions
Prepare the Meat Mixture: Cut the onion and seedless tomato into small cubes. Chop the parsley and mix with the ground beef. Season with salt, pepper, Syrian seasoning (or your favorite seasoning), olive oil, and lemon juice.
Drain the Meat: Place the meat mixture in a sieve to drain for about 10 to 15 minutes, allowing it to lose some of its liquids. This ensures it remains spread out and juicy when baked.
Prepare the Esfiha: Spread the meat mixture evenly over the pita bread. If the pita bread is too thin, you may use it whole without opening.
Bake: Place in an oven preheated to its maximum temperature and bake for 3 minutes.
Serve: Fold the esfiha in the middle by hand. Serving it with curd is recommended for an enhanced flavor.
