Ingredients

  1. rice flour - 4 tablespoons (4 tablespoons)
  2. sugar - 8 tablespoons (8 tablespoons)
  3. milk - 4 cups (4 cups)
  4. rose water - 1/2 tablespoon (1/2 tablespoon)

Instructions

  1. Mix dry ingredients: Mix 4 tablespoons of rice flour with 8 tablespoons of sugar.
  2. Heat milk: Pour 4 cups of milk into a pot and heat on low.
  3. Combine and cook: Add the rice flour and sugar mixture to the warm milk over low heat. Stir continuously to prevent burning.
  4. Cook until thickened: Continue stirring until the mixture thickens and is just about to boil.
  5. Add rose water: Add 1/2 tablespoon of rose water and stir well.
  6. Serve: Serve hot for breakfast or cold as dessert. Optionally, add vanilla or cinnamon to taste.
