Instructions

  1. Prepare the Rice: Wash the brown rice three times, then add oil, salt, and water. Let it soak for 10 to 15 minutes in the rice cooker on the keep warm mode.
  2. Prep Ingredients: Dice green onions, crack eggs, peel and cut shrimp into smaller pieces and season, cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and marinate.
  3. Cook Rice with Corn: Add corn and a bit more water to the rice, then restart the rice cooker.
  4. Cook Chicken and Shrimp: Heat a wok on high and add oil. Add the chicken, follow with the shrimp, stir fry together, then remove and set aside.
  5. Prepare Eggs: Fluff the rice with chopsticks to let off some steam, then salt and beat the eggs.
  6. Fry Eggs and Rice: Add oil again to the hot wok, then add the eggs. Now add the rice, stir frying for 2 to 3 minutes.
  7. Season and Combine: Season with sugar, salt, and light soy sauce, then mix in. Add back in the chicken and shrimp, give a final mix.
  8. Serve: Plate and serve the fried brown rice.
