Ingredients

  1. Milk - 1 litre (1 litre)
  2. Vanilla essence - 1 tsp (1 teaspoon)
  3. Sugar - 0.25 cup (¼ cup or to taste)
  4. Custard powder - 6 tbs (6 tablespoons)
  5. Olper's Cream - 0.5 cup (for custard mixture)
  6. Ice cubes - watch the video to see (as required)
  7. Olper's Cream - 200 ml (chilled for fruit cream)
  8. Powdered sugar - 2 tbs (2 tablespoons or to taste)
  9. Apple - 1 cup (sliced, 1 cup)
  10. Banana - 1 cup (sliced, 1 cup)
  11. Fruit cocktail - 1 cup (strained, 1 cup)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Custard: In a wok, add milk, vanilla essence, sugar, and custard powder. Whisk well to combine.
  2. Cook Custard: Turn on medium flame and continuously mix the mixture until it thickens. Remove from flame and whisk while cooling completely.
  3. Add Cream to Custard: Add ½ cup Olper's Cream to the cooled custard, mix well, and refrigerate for later use.
  4. Prepare Fruit Cream: In a large bowl with ice cubes underneath, place another bowl. Add 200 ml chilled Olper's Cream and beat for 5-6 minutes.
  5. Sweeten Cream: Add powdered sugar and beat for another 1-2 minutes.
  6. Add Fruits and Nuts: Add sliced apples, bananas, strained fruit cocktail, pistachios, and almonds. Mix well and set aside.
  7. Assemble Dessert: In a serving dish, layer plain cake slices, fruit cream, red jelly cubes, green jelly cubes, and prepared custard.
  8. Decorate and Serve: Decorate the top with whipped cream, red and green jelly cubes, pistachios, and almonds. Serve chilled.
