  3. cabbage - 4 cups (thinly sliced, about 4 cups or a quarter of a small cabbage)
  4. carrot - 1.5 cups (shredded, about 1.5 cups or half of a small carrot)
  5. green onions - 3 (chopped)
  6. garlic - watch the video to see (minced)
  7. cooking oil - 1.5 tablespoons (1.5 tablespoons)
  8. ground pork - 10 oz (80% lean, 10 oz)
  9. oyster sauce - 1.5 tablespoons (1.5 tablespoons)
  10. seasoning soy sauce - 1.5 tablespoons (1.5 tablespoons)
  11. salt - 1/4 teaspoon (to taste, about 1/4 teaspoon)
  12. black pepper - a pinch (to taste, a pinch)
  13. white pepper - a pinch (to taste, a pinch)
  14. sesame oil - 1/2 teaspoon (about 1/2 teaspoon)
  15. spring roll wrappers - watch the video to see (as needed)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Soak dried shiitake mushrooms and glass noodles in water. Thinly slice cabbage, shred carrot, chop green onions, and mince garlic.
  2. Cook Filling: In a pan over medium-low heat, add cooking oil and garlic. Add ground pork and cook until it starts to brown. Add shiitake mushrooms and continue to cook. Then add carrots, cabbage, and glass noodles, cooking until vegetables are soft.
  3. Season Filling: Add oyster sauce, seasoning soy sauce, salt, black pepper, white pepper, and sesame oil to the pan. Mix well and cook until everything is well combined.
  4. Wrap Egg Rolls: Let the filling cool. Place a portion of the filling on each spring roll wrapper and roll tightly.
  5. Fry Egg Rolls: Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the egg rolls until golden brown and crispy. Serve with dipping sauce.
