Ingredients

  1. Yukon Gold potatoes - 6-7 (6-7 potatoes)
  2. butter - 1½ cups (1½ cups)
  3. dried oregano - 1/3 cup (1/3 cup)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the potatoes: Peel the potatoes, chop them in half, and add to boiling water. Let cook for eight minutes, then strain.
  2. Prepare the butter mixture: In a saucepan, melt 1½ cups of butter and mix in 1/3 cup of dried oregano.
  3. Assemble the potatoes: In a baking pan, pour a little of the butter mixture, lay the potatoes neatly, and cover with the rest of the butter.
  4. Bake: Bake at 425°F for 40 minutes, flip the potatoes, and bake for another 40 minutes until crispy, crunchy, and golden.
