Prepare bacon strips: Place the bacon strips in the air fryer basket. Ensure they are not overlapping, but they can be close together. If the strips are too long, cut them to size using kitchen scissors.
Cook first side: Set the air fryer temperature to 350ºF. Cook regular cut bacon for 5 minutes, thick cut bacon for 6 to 7 minutes.
Flip and continue cooking: Turn the bacon strips over and cook again at 350ºF for an additional 5 minutes or until the bacon is golden brown and crispy.
Drain excess fat: Remove the bacon and let it drain on absorbent paper before serving.
Prevent smoke for multiple batches: If cooking multiple batches, drain the bacon fat and line the bottom of the air fryer with paper towels to prevent smoke.
