Instructions

  1. Prepare Oranges: Wash the oranges thoroughly by rubbing them by hand to remove impurities. Preferably use organic oranges.
  2. Peel Oranges: Grate only the thin outer orange layer of the peel, avoiding the white bitter pith.
  3. Juice Oranges: Cut and juice the peeled oranges using an electric juicer if the juice is thick. Strain the juice through a very fine sieve to remove pulp and seeds.
  4. Blend Juice with Peel: Add the grated orange peel to the strained juice and blend thoroughly until the peel dissolves into the juice, extracting oils and flavor.
  5. Strain Concentrated Juice: Strain the blended juice again through a fine sieve to remove any remaining peel particles.
  6. Store: Pour the concentrated juice into a sterilized glass bottle and refrigerate. It can be kept for months without spoiling.
  7. Serve: Before serving, shake or stir the concentrated juice well. Dilute with cold water and add sugar and ice if desired.
