Prepare dough mixture: Mix eggs, a pinch of vanilla, a pinch of salt, two tablespoons of ghee, one teaspoon of baking powder, and 1.5 cups of water very well.
Add flour and knead: Gradually add 4 cups of all-purpose flour cup by cup, kneading well. Add an additional half cup if needed until the dough is cohesive and not too soft.
Rest the dough: Sprinkle a pinch of flour on a marble surface, place the dough down, cover with a plate, and let it rest for 10 minutes.
Roll out dough: Roll the dough out into a thin rectangular shape using starch to prevent sticking. Sprinkle starch on top and fold the dough in half, sprinkle starch again, and roll out again. Repeat folding and resting for another 10 minutes.
Divide dough into squares: Divide the rested dough into halves, then into smaller squares of equal size.
Fry the dough squares: Heat oil on the stove and fry the dough squares, flipping until golden and puffed on all sides.
Serve: Serve warm with honey, powdered sugar, chocolate sauce, or caramel sauce as desired.
