Ingredients

  1. whole white yogurt - 150 g (use 150 grams)
  2. sugar - 150 g (use 150 grams)
  3. seed oil - 70 ml (use 70 ml)
  4. eggs - 2 (use 2 whole eggs)
  5. all-purpose flour (00 flour) - 300 g (use 300 grams)
  6. baking soda - 5 g (about 1 teaspoon or 5 grams)
  7. vinegar or lemon juice - 1 tbsp (1 tablespoon)
  8. powdered sugar - watch the video to see (for dusting after baking)

Instructions

  1. Mix eggs and sugar: Beat the eggs and sugar together until well combined and slightly fluffy.
  2. Add yogurt and oil: Add the whole white yogurt and seed oil to the egg and sugar mixture, then mix well.
  3. Incorporate dry ingredients: Add the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and vinegar (or lemon juice) to the wet mixture and mix until smooth.
  4. Prepare baking mold: Line a 20 cm diameter cake mold with parchment paper and pour the batter into it.
  5. Bake the cake: Bake in a preheated convection oven at 170°C (338°F) for 30 to 35 minutes until tall and soft.
  6. Cool and finish: Allow the cake to cool completely, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.
