Ingredients

  1. corn flour - 90g
  2. egg yolks - 4 (from medium eggs)
  3. honey - 200g
  4. light milk - 750g
  5. salt - 1 pinch (a pinch of)
  6. cream cheese - 200g
  7. vanillin - 2
  8. sugar-free granola - 200g
  9. strawberry jam - 280g (healthy habit)

Instructions

  1. Make the Cream: In a saucepan, combine milk, honey, cornflour, vanilla, egg yolks, and a pinch of salt. Mix quickly and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.
  2. Add Cream Cheese: Remove the saucepan from the heat and add cream cheese. Stir until the cream cheese is fully incorporated and the mixture is smooth.
  3. Cool the Cream: Transfer the cream to a baking tray and cover with cling film, pressing the film down on the cream to prevent a skin from forming. Refrigerate until cool, more than two hours.
  4. Prepare for Assembly: Remove the cream from the refrigerator and beat in a mixer for 1 minute to fluff up.
  5. Assemble the Trifle: In a large glass deep container, add a layer of granola, followed by a layer of cream, and then a layer of strawberry jam. Repeat the layering process two more times.
  6. Final Touches: Freeze the assembled trifle in the refrigerator before serving.
