  4. water - 1/2 cup

  6. garlic powder - to taste
  7. Italian seasoning - to taste
  8. Italian sausage - watch the video to see
  9. mozzarella cheese - watch the video to see
  10. parmesan cheese - watch the video to see
  11. parsley, fresh or dried - to taste (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prep the Manicotti: Stuff the manicotti shells with string cheese and line them up in a glass baking dish.
  2. Add Tomato Sauce and Water: Pour tomato sauce over the stuffed manicotti shells, then add 1/2 cup of water to ensure the pasta cooks properly.
  3. Seasoning: Add chopped onions to half of the dish if desired. Sprinkle garlic powder and Italian seasoning over the top.
  4. Add Sausage: Cover the dish with Italian sausage, then add a bit more tomato sauce and mix slightly.
  5. Bake Covered: Cover the dish with foil and bake in the oven until the pasta is almost cooked.
  6. Add Cheese and Bake Again: Remove the foil, top the dish with mozzarella and parmesan cheese, and a sprinkle of parsley. Bake for another 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
