Ingredients

  1. strawberries - 130g (fresh, finely chopped)
  2. cream cheese - 150g (softened)
  3. heavy cream - 150g (for whipping)
  4. sugar - 50g (granulated)
  5. strawberry jam - 10–15g (for flavor)
  6. frozen strawberries - 3 (for mix-ins)
  7. castella cake - 1 pack (80g) (sliced into 1cm thick pieces)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Strawberries: Finely chop the strawberries.
  2. Mix Base: Add chopped strawberries and sugar to the CREAMi cup and mix.
  3. Whip Cream Cheese: In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese and heavy cream, and whip together.
  4. Combine Mixtures: Add the cream cheese mixture and strawberry jam to the CREAMi cup and mix with a whisk.
  5. Freeze Base: Close the lid and freeze for at least 24 hours.
  6. Prepare Cake Layers: Cut castella cake into 1cm thick slices to fit your mold.
  7. Make Ice Cream: Attach the CREAMi cup to the unit and press the Ice Cream button.
  8. Add Mix-Ins: Make a 4cm-wide hole down the center of the ice cream and add the frozen strawberries, then press the Mix-In button.
  9. Layer Cake: Line your mold with plastic wrap, spread the ice cream evenly, and place a layer of castella cake on top. Repeat to create layers.
  10. Final Freeze: Cover with wrap and freeze for at least 6 hours.
  11. Serve: Remove from mold, decorate with cookies or fresh strawberries—and you’re done!
