medium onions - 2 (chopped into cubes)
coriander - watch the video to see (fresh, chopped)
garlic - 1.5 heads (chopped)
salt - to taste
seven spices - a little
cinnamon - a little
vegetable oil - a little
basmati rice - 2 cups (washed, not soaked)
vermicelli - watch the video to see
ghee - a little (or butter)
water - 3 cups
Instructions
Prepare Ingredients: Chop onions and coriander. Crush garlic with a little salt. Wash spinach thoroughly.
Cook Onions and Meat: In a pot, add vegetable oil and sauté onions until transparent. Add minced meat, seven spices, cinnamon, and salt. Cook until meat is done.
Add Spinach: Gradually add spinach to the pot, stirring until it wilts and releases water. Do not add extra water.
Add Garlic and Coriander: Add the crushed garlic and chopped coriander to the spinach. Cook uncovered to keep spinach green.
Prepare Rice: Fry vermicelli in a little oil, then add washed basmati rice. Add salt and ghee, then water. Cook until rice is done.
Serve: Serve the spinach stew with the prepared rice. Optionally, garnish with meat removed earlier or pine nuts if available.
