Ingredients

  1. spinach - watch the video to see (fresh)
  2. minced meat - watch the video to see (from freezer)
  3. medium onions - 2 (chopped into cubes)
  4. coriander - watch the video to see (fresh, chopped)
  5. garlic - 1.5 heads (chopped)
  6. salt - to taste
  7. seven spices - a little
  8. cinnamon - a little
  9. vegetable oil - a little
  10. basmati rice - 2 cups (washed, not soaked)
  11. vermicelli - watch the video to see
  12. ghee - a little (or butter)
  13. water - 3 cups

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Chop onions and coriander. Crush garlic with a little salt. Wash spinach thoroughly.
  2. Cook Onions and Meat: In a pot, add vegetable oil and sauté onions until transparent. Add minced meat, seven spices, cinnamon, and salt. Cook until meat is done.
  3. Add Spinach: Gradually add spinach to the pot, stirring until it wilts and releases water. Do not add extra water.
  4. Add Garlic and Coriander: Add the crushed garlic and chopped coriander to the spinach. Cook uncovered to keep spinach green.
  5. Prepare Rice: Fry vermicelli in a little oil, then add washed basmati rice. Add salt and ghee, then water. Cook until rice is done.
  6. Serve: Serve the spinach stew with the prepared rice. Optionally, garnish with meat removed earlier or pine nuts if available.
