Ingredients

  1. egg tofu - 2 pieces (2 pieces)
  2. eggs - 3 (whole eggs)
  3. chicken stock - 250 ml (liquid for steaming mixture)
  4. shrimp - 7 pieces (peeled, deveined)
  5. light soy sauce - 1 tsp (for seasoning)
  6. oil - 2 tbsp (for cooking)
  7. spring onions - watch the video to see (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Egg Mixture: Beat the 3 eggs in a bowl and mix with 250 ml chicken stock and 1 tsp light soy sauce until well combined.
  2. Prepare Tofu and Shrimp: Cut the egg tofu into desired pieces. Clean and prepare the shrimp.
  3. Assemble and Steam: Place the egg tofu and shrimp in a steaming dish. Pour the egg and chicken stock mixture over them.
  4. Steam the Dish: Steam the mixture over medium heat until the egg custard is set, approximately 15-20 minutes.
  5. Finish and Garnish: Heat 2 tbsp oil until hot and pour over the steamed egg dish. Garnish with chopped spring onions before serving.
