Ingredients

  1. peated whisky (Laphroaig) - 1 oz (use 1 oz)
  2. mezcal - 1 oz (use 1 oz)
  3. almond orgeat syrup (Liber & Co.) - ¾ oz (use ¾ oz)
  4. lime juice - ¾ oz (use ¾ oz)
  5. celery bitters - 2-3 dashes (2-3 dashes)
  6. angostura bitters - 1 dash (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a shaker, combine 1 oz of peated whisky, 1 oz of mezcal, ¾ oz of almond orgeat syrup, ¾ oz of fresh lime juice, and 2-3 dashes of celery bitters.
  2. Shake: Add plenty of ice to the shaker and shake well.
  3. Strain: Double strain the mixture into a cold glass.
  4. Garnish: Garnish with a lime wheel or a dash of angostura bitters.
