  3. fresh bread - 200 g (200 grams)
  4. pecorino cheese - 150 g (grated, 150 grams)
  5. whole milk - 200 g (200 grams)
  6. eggs - 110 g (about 2 medium, 110 grams)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the meat mixture: Soak the fresh bread in whole milk until soft. In a bowl, combine ground beef, sausage meat, soaked bread, grated pecorino, eggs, thyme, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly to form a uniform mixture.
  2. Shape the meatloaf: Shape the meat mixture into a loaf shape suitable for baking.
  3. Prepare the potatoes: Wash and halve the baby potatoes. Peel and slice the shallots. Toss potatoes and shallots with extra virgin olive oil, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  4. Bake the meatloaf and potatoes: Place the meatloaf and potatoes in a baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil. Bake in a preheated oven at approximately 180°C (350°F) for about 50-60 minutes or until the meatloaf is cooked through and potatoes are tender.
  5. Serve: Remove from oven, let rest briefly, then slice the meatloaf and serve with the roasted potatoes.
