  6. sesame seed bun - 3 pieces (3 pieces per burger (bottom, middle, top))
  7. water - 1 cup (for pickling brine)
  8. white vinegar - 1 cup for pickling, 1 tsp for sauce (for pickling brine and sauce)
  9. salt - 1 tbsp for pickling, pinch for sauce (for pickling brine and sauce)

Instructions

  1. Make Pickles: Heat 1 cup water, 1 cup white vinegar, and 1 tbsp salt until boiling. Place sliced cucumbers, dill, 2 cloves garlic, and peppercorns in a mason jar. Pour hot brine over cucumbers. Let pickle for at least 1 hour.
  2. Prepare Sauce: In a bowl, mix 2 tbsp mayonnaise, 1 tsp mustard, 1 tsp sweet pickle relish, 1 tsp vinegar, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp paprika, a pinch of kosher salt, black pepper to taste, and 1/8 tsp MSG until well combined.
  3. Prepare Beef Patties: Form ground beef into two thin patties. Grill or pan-fry until cooked through but still juicy.
  4. Assemble Big Mac: On the bottom bun, spread sauce, add diced onions, shredded lettuce, a slice of cheese, and one beef patty. Place the middle bun on top. Repeat with sauce, onions, lettuce, pickles, and the second beef patty. Top with the sesame seed bun.
