Instructions
Cook the bacon: Place bacon strips in an air fryer basket and cook at 350°F (175°C) for 5 minutes. Flip and cook for another 5 minutes or until crispy. Drain on absorbent paper. For multiple batches, drain fat from fryer and wipe clean to prevent burning.
Prepare lettuce and tomato: Wash and dry lettuce leaves and tomato. Remove lettuce stems. Slice tomato thinly using a sharp or bread knife.
Toast the bread: Spread unsalted butter on both sides of bread slices. Brown the slices in a frying pan over medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
Assemble the sandwich: Spread mayonnaise on one slice of toasted bread. Layer 1-2 lettuce leaves, then 1-2 tomato slices. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add crispy bacon strips on top. Spread mayonnaise on the second slice of toast and place it on top to form the sandwich.
